MASVINGO-Clifford Dzvairo, the youngest coach to lead a team to promotion into the Premier Soccer League has officially parted ways with FC Hunters.

Dzvairo announced his departure in an emotional Facebook post, reflecting on a journey filled with both challenges and glory, culminating in a championship winning campaign that earned FC Hunters a spot in the elite league.
“Today is a bittersweet moment as I bid farewell to the team and supporters who’ve become like family,” he wrote.
“Our championship win will forever be etched in my heart.”
Appointed as head coach on Match Day 13, Dzvairo managed 19 games in total, winning 14, drawing 2 and losing just 3. His tactical brilliance and youthful energy played a key role in FC Hunters’ meteoric rise and historic achievement.
He praised the players, technical staff and club executive for their unwavering commitment throughout the season.
“To the FC Hunters family of supporters, your energy, chants and unwavering support have been the fuel that drove us forward. You’ll be remembered,” he added.
Dzvairo also expressed deep appreciation for the town of Marondera and Rudhaka Stadium, calling it his “home”, a clear sign of the strong bond he forged with the community.
“Though I’m moving on, the bond we have formed will remain. Keep chasing those dreams, Hunters! I came as a boy, I am leaving as a man.”
While his next move remains unknown, Dzvairo’s leadership and impact have already positioned him as one of Zimbabwe’s most promising young football coaches.
