High flying Ndarama posts 100% A level pass rate

MASVINGO CITY-Arguably the best non boarding secondary school in Masvingo Province, Ndarama High has shone among the top by posting a remarkable 100% pass rate in the 2025 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council A Level results.

A total of 158 students sat for the 2025 A-Level examinations at Ndarama.

Of these, 135 candidates obtained 10 points and above, while 23 students scored below 10 points, a result that resulted into an overall clean sweep for the school.

The results were headlined by outstanding individual performances, with Elias Murisi emerging as the top achiever after scoring a remarkable 30 points.

Murisi attained straight A grades in Additional Mathematics, Mechanical Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Chemistry, setting the academic tone for the entire cohort.

From the 15-point to 30-point bracket, the results were male-dominated, with 24 males and 12 females attaining these high scores, reflecting strong competition and consistency among top-performing candidates.

The school’s success in 2025 marks a significant improvement from the previous year, in 2024, 168 students sat for the A-Level examinations, with one candidate failing, resulting in a 99.4 percent pass rate.

The jump to a flawless 100 percent pass rate in 2025 has been widely celebrated by the school community.

Speaking after the release of the results, Ndarama High School Head, Oddy Matongo, expressed pride and gratitude over the milestone achievement.

“I’m very happy with these results, 100% pass rate is not a mean feat. We would like to congratulate all students who made it possible, their teachers, and the support from parents.

“We would also want to encourage parents to continue supporting us through paying school fees on time in order to maintain these remarkable standards,” said Matongo.
