Herentals’ Mandava romance paying dividends

ZVISHAVANE – Despite playing home away from home, Harare based Herentals FC who are using Mandava Stadium are settling well as they are collecting maximum points whenever they use the ground.

On Sunday the Students did not disappoint as they floored fellow Castle Lager Premier Soccer League sideBlack Rhinos 2-1, showing no signs of nervousness at despite using the home of defending champions, FC Platinum.

Edgar Mhungu and Stanley Murove bagging the crucial goals for the students.

The win comes after a same scoreline win over log leaders Ngezi Platinum FC at the same venue showing their dominance in Zvishavane.

The win see them move to seventh position on the log with 35 points from 23 games played so far.

The fine form they are enjoying in Zvishavane has seen club owner, Innocent Benza saying they have no plans of leaving Mandava Stadium any time soon as their home ground.

The club is playing home matches in Zvishavane as most of the stadia in Harare have been condemned or are undergoing renovations.
