The Happynest Foundation has taken significant strides in its mission to empower vulnerable communities, recently hosting a donation event in Sogwala, Lower Gwelo in the Midlands Province.

Earlier this month, the foundation’s leadership team, including Chief Executive Officer and Foundation Patron Innocent Mataruse, the finance manager, Davison Tavakonza, and Foundation Coordinator Ashleigh Gondokondo, visited the area to distribute essential supplies to families facing food insecurity.
“Our selection process for beneficiaries was thoughtful and based on genuine need, ensuring that support reaches the households most at risk. During the event, our team engaged directly with families, listening to their stories and offering words of encouragement,” said CEO Mataruse.
This personal engagement underscores the foundation’s comprehensive approach, which includes not only material aid and financial assistance but also emotional support.
A key highlight of the visit was the delegation’s interaction with a recipient of the foundation’s educational scholarship program. This meeting illustrated the foundation’s holistic commitment to uplifting communities, extending its efforts beyond immediate needs to invest in the long-term futures of beneficiaries.
Through this initiative, the Happynest Foundation demonstrates its dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those it serves, fostering hope and resilience within the community while providing essential support to those in need.
