As parents and guardians, it’s essential to be aware of the pressing health risk facing our children in Zimbabwe.

The Midweek Watch confirmed that recent polio outbreak and detection of circulating poliovirus variants in our environment have put our children at high risk of contracting poliomyelitis, a highly dangerous disease.

Polio can cause lifelong paralysis of legs, hands, and even death. The outbreak in Zimbabwe and neighboring countries has increased the risk of infection, making it crucial to take immediate action.
