In a statement in possession of The Midweek Watch, the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works has confirmed that arrangements are underway to repatriate the bodies of Zimbabweans who perished in the tragic DNC Coaches road traffic accident in Makhado Limpopo Province, South Africa.
The horrific bus accident which happened on Sunday killed 42 people.

President Mnangagwa, has since declared the incident a national disaster, directing the Ministry to provide state assisted burials and cover medical expenses for the injured.
The Ministry, through the Department of Civil Protection is now calling on next of kins of the deceased to come forward and assist in the identification process.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, buses have been arranged to transport next of kins from Harare to Polokwane today 15 October from the National Disaster Management Centre at Makombe Building in Harare at 12:00pm.
Repatriation will commence after successful identification of the deceased.
The Ministry expressed condolences to bereaved families and assured ongoing support during this difficult time.
