GUTU-An upcoming and promising football team, Mutombwa Giants FC in the remote areas of Munyikwa in Gutu is appealing for assistance to acquire a kit for the team.
Mutombwa FC has no boots, uniforms and has only 2 match balls and boasts of more than 25 players and 7 committee members.
“We are appealing to well-wishers to come to our rescue in any form, be it money, soccer boots, uniforms or match balls. Our team is very promising and if we are to get those few requirements we can go very far because there is a lot of talent in the team,” said Ragel Chikuvire a committee member.
Mutombwa is a community team playing social soccer at the moment, but their dream is to register with ZIFA and play in one of the divisions like 2A or 2B.
