GUTU-Reformed Church of Zimbabwe run Gutu High School has once again demonstrated strong academic performance after recording an impressive 98 percent pass rate in the 2025 Advanced Level Zimbabwe School Examinations Council.

A total of 95 candidates sat for two or more subjects with 93 learners successfully passing.
Of the candidates, 61 obtained 10 points and above while 12 learners achieved 15 points and above, reflecting a solid pool of high performing students.
Subject performance was particularly strong in the sciences where 31 candidates attained 10 points and above.
In the Arts and Commercials, 15 learners in each category managed to score 10 points and above highlighting balanced achievement across subjects.
Male candidates recorded a pass rate of 96.3 percent while female candidates achieved a 100 percent pass rate, contributing to the school’s overall strong outcome.
School head Mirirai Mutanda expressed satisfaction with the results, noting that the performance reflects consistency, discipline and effective teaching strategies.
Gutu High School’s 2025 results place the institution among the leading A Level performers in the district and province, reinforcing its reputation for academic excellence.
