Giving Up, Failing, A Choice.

TITOS MAKONDO

MANY authors portrayed failure as a deliberate action, brewed in one’s heart, that can be rid of by making vows to strive for the better.

According to the pen soldier behind,

“Dream A New Dream”, Dale Galloway, choice of attitude can make you or break you and it’s nobody’s business, but your responsibility to keep your mind positive.

“LIFE,” someone said, “10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to what happens to you”. But, the choice is yours, whether you act or you sit on your buttocks and complain.

In addition, this implies that humans have a natural installed resilience to make ends meet regardless of opposing factors. And therefore, should automatically bounce back [get going again] in case of a drastic fall.

ln his book, “How to Get From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be”, Jack Canfield points out when you truly are on purpose, the people, resources, and opportunities you need naturally  gravitate towards you and no bones about it.

However, majority of contenders admit to have failed, when knocked down by adversaries, ignoring the reality that , a second chance lies ahead of every contender. You alone must choose whether you will let obstacles lick you, or whether you will take courage and lick the circumstance.

But l assure you, though doomed to failure, with grit and persistence, one can end up striking the right chord. Losing or winning are a matter of choice. Reports say that John Creasey collected more than 500 rejection slips before he sold his first book. Apparently, the person you should middle finger for your failures is the very person you always see when you look at the mirror.

I recall during a church sermon, when l first learnt about “Conscience”. l was told conscience is an inner, still voice that makes minor reports, whether you are doing right or wrong. A watch dog, checking on whatever you are doing and paying attention to its signals boost decision making. And so interestingly enough, everyone has  such an amazing voice and still a free will to obey or disobey it.

Life on its own is an ignorable teacher. lf you don’t make time to learn from nature, nobody will do it on your behalf. With vast knowledge and life experience induced to us by nature, we should be meritorious achievers of the sort, as life experience is the comb that nature gives us when we are bald.

The buzzwords in particular subject is, your positive mind is key to success, far more important than facts, circumstances, money, education, what others say and your past.

“No matter what happens to you, choose positive thoughts and sooner or later, you will be a winner. On the other hand, if you give in to negative thoughts, allowing them to dwell within your mind, there is no way that you will be anything but a loser,” Galloway writes.
