Four Lions FC from 4 Infantry Brigade maintained their unbeaten run with a 3-1 win over Garariah FC, strengthening their position at the top of the ZIFA Masvingo Province Division 2 log standings.

Their closest rivals, Power Football Club also kept pressure alive with a convincing 5-0 victory over Molsport Football Club but still trail by 9 points.

With Four Lions FC sitting on 40 points and Power FC on 31 points and only four matches left in the season, the title race is still alive, but the Lions now have one paw firmly on the Division One promotion ticket.

If Four Lions FC continue their current form, they could seal the championship and earn a ticket for division one football in the next two games.

Next weekend, Four Lions FC is hosting Sharp Arrows at Magamba Stadium while Power FC is also playing at home against Herentals FC.
