KWEKWE-A 17-year-old Kwekwe boy’ body was found lying outside a nightclub in Redcliff, Kwekwe on Saturday last week.
Midlands Police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed that on 21 July 2023 around 11am the late Sindiso Hlazo who was doing a form 3 student left home for plot 20 Swart Lage farm Redcliff where he had been sent by his brother.
The following day around 1am, Hlazo was seen by a bar attendant at Chilax Nightclub, Torwood Shopping Centre, Redcliff drinking beer in the company of other unknown men.
On the same day at around 830pm, the bar attendant heard from patrons that there was a body of a male juvenile lying outside the nightclub. The bar attendant discovered that it was the same boy he had earlier on seen in the nightclub. During scene attendance, police observed that he was bleeding from the right ear.
“No arrests have been made so far” Mahoko said and the police is seeking for more information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects.
“We are appealing to members of the public who might have information concerning this case to approach their nearest police stations so that the culprits involved maybe brought to book,” Inspector Mahoko said.
