Mutare City Rovers have parted ways with head coach Prince Tafirenyika who was spotted at the newly formed African Mineral Ventures alongside notable players like Nobert Zingo, Adam Tende, Edward Mafa and Pascal Manhanga. The Rovers have appointed Brian Mukundu as head coach with Ackim Gwaendepi as his assistant (a former player of the club). They will be holding trials from January 26 to 30.
