MIDLANDS – Football fans are set for an electrifying showdown this Saturday as Tongogara FC, the army side, goes head-to-head with fellow uniformed forces team Chapungu Utd at Tongogara Stadium in the Ruvimbo Funeral ZIFA Central Region Soccer League Division 1.

The game promises to be a top drawer encounter, with both teams vying for victory to enhance their chances of promotion into the Castle Lager Premiership.

Tongogara are the favorites in the encounter as Chapungu are on a four game losing streak which is a shock of the season as they started well.

They are 12th on the log with only two wins from seven games played.

Meanwhile Tongogara are third on the table after a one all draw against log leaders Dulibadzimu FC with four wins out of the seven games played.

It will not be a walk in the park however as Chapungu dismantled Black Eagles 6-0 who are a fellow uniformed forces side in the league which Tongogara won 2-1 against the same side.

Other matches feature log leaders Dulibadzimu United away at Maglas Stadium against Shabanie Mine FC and West Nicholson FC date Kwekwe United.
