FC Hunters reclaimed the top spot in the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League after edging fellow title challengers Masvingo United FC 1-0 in a tightly contested Week 28 clash.

The decisive goal came from Cabby Kamhapa, whose strike proved enough to seal all three points.
The victory lifts FC Hunters to 63 points, setting up a high stakes encounter against second placed Tenax Correctional Services FC next weekend, a match that could heavily influence the title race.
Tenax CS FC moved into second place following a dominant 4-0 win over Renco Mine FC at Chisamba Grounds.
With the result, Tenax CS FC climbed to 61 points, narrowly ahead of Masvingo United FC (also on 61) by separated by a superior goal difference of +26 compared to Una Una +25.
FC Wangu Mazodze ended a five match winless streak in style with a 3-0 triumph over Tongogara United FC at Mucheke Stadium.
The win propelled them to ninth place on 29 points, level with Tongogara United FC ahead due to a stronger goal difference (+10 to -6).
Great Zimbabwe University FC suffered a 2-0 defeat against Rusitu Tigers FC at Chirombo Stadium.
With just two rounds of fixtures remaining, the title race remains wide open, with FC Hunters, Tenax CS FC and Masvingo United FC all still in contention for the 2025 championship.
