MASVINGO – A Masvingo family in Nyajena has sent an SOS for financial assistance to settle bills, buy food and clothing for their four children who are mentally challenged.

In an interview with The Midweek Watch, family spokesperson Tinashe Mutukwa said the family which earns a living through farming is seeking for money to buy food, clothes and fence to protect the children who were born with mental disabilities.
“We are seeking for financial assistance to support four family members who were born with mental disabilities.
“Anyone who is willing to help us can get through so that we can buy food, clothes ,pampers and fence to prevent the children from moving out;” he said.
He said the family is also struggling to pay medical bills at hospitals.
“The situation has not been good for us for a couple of years. We have sold most of our property in our bid to support the children but nothing has changed. We are reaching out to the nation to come to our rescue through any form of assistance,” he said.
