The Zimbabwe Republic Police are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating a 14 year old Tatenda Mukamba, a form one student at Face to Face Academy in Mutare who went missing on May 30th 2025.

Acting Manicaland provincial police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka confirmed to The Midweek Watch that Tatenda went missing on May 30.
“The boy attended school that day and went for sports activities at Mutare Girls High where he did not participate, and he was with his friend London Matope.
“However, during sports time, Tatenda expressed some disturbing sentiments, telling his friend that he wanted to die and when questioned about it Tatenda brushed it off as a joke, but mentioned he wanted to go to Chipinge,” said Ass Insp Chinyoka
Ass Insp Chinyoka further added that around 1600 hours, Tatenda left the school premises and was seen by his friend and classmates near Murahwa building crossing Mutare main street towards Mudzviti rank.
Tatenda is approximately 1,5 meters tall, medium build and big eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing his school uniform, consisting of grey trousers, blue jersey, black shoes, and carrying a satchel with black sneakers, a black track suit, and a black T shirt with the school log.
