ERSL storm partnership with Pacific Storm launch month end

MASVINGO – A new dawn is upon the ZIFA Eastern Region Division 1 Soccer League as they are set to launch their partnership with Pacific Storm as the league sponsor on March 29, 2025.

ZIFA Eastern Region Soccer League Administrator Fungai ‘The Iron Lady of Soccer’ Munyoro Chingaira.

This development was confirmed to The Midweek Watch by the League’s Administrator Fungai ‘The Iron Lady of Soccer’ Munyoro-Chingaira.

Munyoro-Chingaiara highlighted that the league will be rebranding its name from ZIFA Eastern Region Division 1 Soccer League The Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League.

This was the same case with the Central Region Division 1 Soccer League which rebranded to Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Division 1 Soccer League removing the ZIFA part. However the Eastern Region one will be unique in that all the teams will be carrying the name of the sponsor on their jerseys.

The sponsorship is in the meantime for the 2025 season only.

Munyoro-Chingaira said they are happy with the partnership.

“We are very excited about this sponsorship deal. This is a welcome development for ERSL

“As a league we are going to safeguard the sponsorship so that we continue to get more from the sponsor. It is now mandatory that all clubs use branded kits bearing the sponsor’s name. We are looking forward to an exciting season. The sponsorship is for this season “, she said without disclosing any figures.
