Edrrovale College, perched in Masvingo Rural’s serene environment has been making waves in the educational sector, producing talented and self-driven learners who have gone on to break records at several junior political levels in the country.

Junior Cllr Tawanyasha Nyoni, Junior Vice President Tinevimbo Mavetera, and former Masvingo North Junior MP Ruvarashe Siziba.

One such star is Tinevimbo Mavetera, who was recently overwhelmingly voted to the position of Zimbabwe Junior Parliament Vice President.

Tinevimbo is doing Lower Six.

Tinevimbo made history as she became the second learner from Masvingo to land such a powerful position and the first female to achieve the feat.

In the previous session (32nd), Ruvarashe Siziba, also from Edrrovale, served as Junior MP for Masvingo North Constituency, working tirelessly to fulfill her promises despite facing challenges due to lack of resources. Her commitment to her work has been commendable, and she has set a high standard for others to follow.

Another shining star from the school is form 3 learner Tawananyasha Nokutenda Nyoni, who serves as Councillor for Ward 32 and Vice Chairperson for Masvingo Rural Council. She has been a source of inspiration for students in her ward and the private school, reminding them that being young does not make one any less capable. Her wish is to change the lives of rural children, and she is working hard to make that a reality.

Douglas Chada, Deputy Head of Edrrovale College, shared with The Midweek Watch on the college’s remarkable achievements:

“We are proud of the accomplishments of our students, who have gone on to make a positive impact in their communities. Tinevimbo, Ruvarashe, and Tawananyasha are just a few examples of the many talented individuals who are making waves at the school. We are committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders and empowering them to make a difference in the world,” said Chada.

The success of Edrrovale College’s learners is significant to the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering a culture of leadership excellence.

Founded in 2017, Edrrovale College is a leading educational institution in Masvingo Province known for its commitment to academic excellence, character development, and fostering Ubuntu among its learners.
