As we pray, we can feel a change in our spiritual life, we feel like we are closer to God because we continuously communicate with him through prayer, we acknowledge that his love for us is infinite and he will; never leave us.

Prayer is the power tool for Christians to communicate with the lord. It is our way of realizing that we have needs and the only provider of our needs is the heavenly father for it is written that he will never leave us

After my last article most people went on to ask me if prayer really changes things in life and it has made me come to write this today prayer is more than communion we are called to commune with GOD.

We worship Him we ponder who He is and what He has done in the world, we stand in awe of the sovereign trine God. But this is not the same thing as prayer. Almost all prayer in the Bible is petitionary. By that I mean, in prayer we ask God to do things in the earth. More importantly we ask God to change things, prayer actually is asking God to change the status quo.

Prayer changes things. When we pray, we are asking God to change things and wen He answers our prayers, He does change things.

If we are perfectly willing to accept the way things are, we will never be great people of prayer, great prayer warriors are people who want things to change they do not accept the current status quo for they know that prayer changes things, payer changes circumstances, prayer changes people, prayer changes God. Let’s take this assertion to the life of prophet Elijah.

Everyone has an inner strength and prayer has the power to change us by building our inner strength through Jesus Christ for our life depends heavily on our prayer life and spiritual life.

As we pray our inner strength is being built to be stronger and stronger until we become prepared for whatever circumstances we face because the Father in heaven has promised in Isiah 43 1-3 .

Prayer changes us by nourishing our faith in God we learn that he is truly our great provider and it is only through God that we can receive difficult breakthroughs in our lives.

Prayer also changes us through patience because as we pray, we are required to be patient in listening to God’s will. Our communication will tell us that he will answer our prayers according to his will. It will also change us by improving our attitude on listening to what God wants. Most of the time we are always focused on presenting our requests to God and praying constantly that our requests are answered

Prayer changes us through our ultimate surrender to God. Prayer is a form of worship and only through worship we are able to surrender ourselves to God. Through ultimate surrender we can rest all our worries to the Lord.

Finally, we ae reminded that indeed prayer is our most important tool in communicating with God.

It is also equally important if we have faith in him and we know him better, which can be achieved through continuous prayer.

The simplest answer is that GOD ORDAINS BOTH THE ENDS AND THE MEANS. therefore, he determines what will happen as well as the means that will make happen what he has determined will happen.
