Religious doctrines have mystified God thus influencing people to worship out of fear rather than profound love and appreciation for our ‘Creator’.
Religion has perpetuated different shrewd perceptions of the ‘Heavens’, ‘Earth’ and God , as well as his relation to and purpose for mankind. Many of which are mere myths.
Would God waste his efforts and will creating mankind in his own image and possess him with unique abilities and attributes, to all creatures, only for it to be wasted and deserted at some point in life? Does not the prevalence of all the evil and atrocities on earth make God a loving father and creator or an omnipotent and ruthless villain? Or is it just a mere wrecking of his plans and defamation by ‘Diablo’?
God made mankind uniquely to all the other creatures. He fashioned men in his own image and likeness (Gen 1 :26-7) and equipped him with unique abilities and special abilities such as thinking and reasoning coupled with moral and spiritual capacities.
As such mankind is able to appreciate the universe , it’s wonders and art. Mankind is blessed with qualities that mirrors God’s own such as love and a sense of justice. Above all humans have the unique ability to appreciate and worship the ‘Creator’ which distinguishes him from all other creations on earth.
Thus consider : Would our loving father and creator have possessed humans with such remarkable qualities and a seemingly limitless potential to develop and enhance them if he meant for men to live shortly and kill him someday ? God gave men dominion over earth and all its inhabitants which depicts how much he loves mankind.
Through one man sin entered the world and death through through sin thus death spread to all men. Many people tend to blame God for all the atrocities and iniquities of the earth especially when one does. All the atrocities are consequences of Adam and Eve’s sin which we inherited. God warned them but Satan, as he does now , manipulated them to sin against their loving Creator. Satan has power over certain happenings on earth currently but many believers refute this though it’s written in the Holy Book. It was written Jesus would come back and end Satan’s rule and restore peace, stability and goodness of earth – thus paradise on earth not in heaven.
The surge of injustice and atrocities are a result of Satan’s interference with God’s purpose for mankind. Religion has indoctrinated people to think that death, illness, poverty and misfortunes are caused by God, but shy would he torment the creatures he made in his own image and love.
Have you ever wondered what happens when a person dies – do they go to heaven, to hell or something else we don’t know happens? God made the earth for mankind to dwell on it forever, as it was written that “as for the heavens they belong to Jehovah but the earth he has given to the sons of men” (Gen 115 : 16). Many people however find it difficult to believe that everlasting life is possible on earth, they believe rather that paradise is in heaven. Religion has mythically predestined non-believers to hell and believers to heaven but God promised oaradies and everlasting life here on earth.
What is hell? Where is hell? To my understanding Hell is a pit that was at the outskirts of ancient cities where all that was vile before God would be burned. One eyed animals and things considered unclean were burnt. There everlasting fire prevailed as such religious doctrines manipulated this and influenced people to worship and pray out of fear of going to hell.
The rebellion in Eden by our first parents did not thwart God’s original purpose for mankind and the earth. His perfect love and sense of justice moved him to provide a way to free us from the bondage of inherited sin and eternal death yet some people still blame him (Rom 6:23). He gave his only begotten son to ransom mankind from destruction and eternal death (John 3:16).
By offering himself willingly as a ransom sacrifice, Jesus redeemed all that was lost through Adam – though it’s subjected to faith and adherence to God’s will. Very soon God’s promise of an earthly paradise after Satan’s complete destruction will come a reality and you can only savour it if you take heed of the word and live by it…..
