ZVISHAVANE-The Church Christ run Dadaya High School in Zvishavane has recorded a remarkable 100% pass rate in the 2025 A-Level Zimbabwe School Examinations Council, with all 79 students passing with quality grades.

Dadaya head Gervas Chirume.

According to the school’s Head Gervas Chirume, 41 boys and 38 girls wrote the examinations.

The school’s performance marks a significant improvement from the 2024 pass rate of 95.34%, showing great progress in both academic delivery and student discipline.

Sixteen students managed to score 15 points and above, a strong indicator of the school’s academic excellence.

Chirume attributed the success to several strategic interventions, including the implementation of school-based projects under a crash programme, the use of motivational speakers, career guidance sessions, monthly tests, and academic seminars.

“We are proud of this outstanding performance. It is a result of commitment from both learners and teachers. Our team worked tirelessly, and the results speak for themselves,” said the Head.

Dadaya is located 20km from the mining town of Zvishavane and was founded in 1934 by Sir Garfield Todd and his wife Grace Todd.

Dadaya High School continues to position itself as one of the top-performing schools in the Midlands Province, with a growing reputation for academic excellence.
