Airtime vendor Ronnie Mupawaenda who recently scammed a colleague, Nickson Kwirirai of $1 250 and conned Etienne Makotose four smart phones worth $360 at Long House Building adjacent to Nyaningwe Supermarket along Emmerson Mnangagwa Street on May 31 has been arrested.
Ronnie was arrested in Gutu according to close police sources who told The Midweek Watch on condition of anonymity.
Masvingo Province police spokesperson, Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa said he was in church and is yet to get the information but will find out full details afterwards.
Ronnie is a popular figure in Masvingo City who used to operate from OK Supermarket. He has since been taken to Masvingo at the Criminal Investigations Department.
