HARARE-The popular comedy drama series, Masasi asabhuku Vharazipi took a swipe at the former first lady Grace Mugabe for failing to reign in on her naughty sons.

Chatunga being escorted by police after his arrest.

In a drama skit this week, Mbuya Mai John and Sabhuku Vharazipi lampooned Grace, her two sons, Bellarmine Chatunga and Robert Jnr Mugabe.

This comes after the late president Robert Mugabe’s last born son Bellarmine appeared in a South African court on Monday, charged with attempted murder after his gardener was shot and wounded at Mugabe’s palatial home at Hyde Park in Johannesburg.

Bellarmine hogged the limelight for the wrong reasons in recent years such as behavioural traits that drew sharp rebuke from the public.

He is jointly charged with Tobias Matonhodze Mugabe for attempted murder.

Mbuya Mai John said; “your wife (Vharazipi) was banned from crossing the Limpopo River (into South Africa) after beating her son’s girlfriend,”.

This was an apparent reference to Grace who is a fugitive of the law in South Africa over an alleged assault of a model, Gabriella Engels at a hotel in Johannesburg in 2017.

Masasi aVharazipi comedians also mentioned Robert Jnr’s unbecoming behaviour who was arrested last year after being found in possession of dagga.

She further indirectly took a dig at Mugabe sons for splurging.

Traditional and social media is awash with Bellarmine’s alleged shooting incident which happened last Thursday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
