Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese football superstar, has embarked on a new chapter in his career by co-founding a film studio with renowned British director Matthew Vaughn.

The studio, named UR•MARV, is a 50-50 partnership that aims to revolutionize the film industry by blending cutting-edge technology with traditional filmmaking techniques.

On his X account, Ronaldo expressed his enthusiasm for this new venture, stating, “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business.”

Vaughn, known for his work on movies like “Kick-Ass” and “Kingsman,” praised Ronaldo’s incredible stories on the pitch, calling him a “real-life superhero.”

The two share a passion for storytelling, with Ronaldo loving movies and Vaughn being a sports enthusiast.

One of Cristiano Ronaldo’s fans in Zimbabwe, who prefers to remain anonymous, expressed excitement, saying, “We can’t wait to see his other gifted side in movie storytelling.”

The studio has already seen success, financing and producing two action films, with a third installment in the series currently in production.

This new venture marks Ronaldo’s continued efforts to expand his influence beyond football. He has also invested in the Portuguese media conglomerate Medialivre and launched his YouTube channel, UR Cristiano, in 2024.

By venturing into the film industry, Ronaldo aims to solidify his brand in new entertainment sectors, ensuring his legacy extends far beyond the football pitch. With UR•MARV, Ronaldo and Vaughn are poised to create inspiring movies that captivate audiences worldwide.
