CHIREDZI-Chiredzi Christian College has recorded an impressive 98.5 percent pass rate in the 2025 Advanced Level Zimbabwe School Examinations Council, marking a notable improvement in the school’s academic performance.

A total of 69 students sat for the examinations, comprising 36 boys and 33 girls, according to confirmations by The Midweek Watch.
The results reflect a solid distribution of high achievers, underscoring the college’s growing academic excellence.
Among the candidates, eight students attained 15 points, while seven obtained 14 points.
A further nine students scored 13 points, seven achieved 12 points, seven secured 11 points, and another seven walked away with 10 points.
Twenty-four students recorded results below 10 points.

The 2025 outcome represents a clear upward trajectory from the 96.7 percent pass rate recorded in 2024, highlighting sustained efforts by both learners and teaching staff to raise academic standards.
Commenting on the achievement, the College Head Elias Kadhani expressed satisfaction with the progress but emphasized the institution’s higher ambitions.
“We have greatly improved from 2024 as we had 96.7 percent; however, we have to strive to reach 100 percent next year,” he said.
The results position Chiredzi Christian College among the strong performers in the region and reaffirm its commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and continuous improvement.
