CHIKOMBA—Thirty nine councillors including nine elected under the new women quota system will take oath of office at Chikomba Rural District Council (RDC) on Friday.
Opposition CCC has only five councillors while the rest are from the ruling Zanu PF party.
Chikomba RDC Chief Executive Officer, Bullen Chiwara confirmed the development to The Midweek Watch.
“I can confirm that 39 councilors, including those from women’s quota will be sworn in at 10am on Friday this week,” said Chiwara.
