MIDWEEK REPORTER

ZAKA-Pastor Livison Tsikisai who is aligned to the AFM led by Cossam Chiangwa has been evicted from the Jerera Growth Point premises following a recent High Court judgement by Justice Garainesu Mawadze.

The judgement by Justice Mawadze was delivered on February 15, 2023 following an application by members of the AFM in Zimbabwe from Zaka-Jerera Assembly represented by Grace Bwanya of Chihambakwe Law Chambers in Masvingo.

“Defendant and all those claiming right of occupation through him are hereby evicted from plaintif property being stand No 129 and 130 Jerera Growth Point, Zaka,” reads part of judgement that was used to evict Tsikisai yesterday who has been staying in the premises despite the Supreme Court judgement of 2021 which gave the AFM in Zimbabwe to Amon Madawo.

The eviction was carried out by the Sheriff of the High Court after Tsikisai had resisted earlier attempts to have him move out of the property which was awarded to the faction led by Madawo.

All social media groups of the AFM in Zimbabwe of the Lowveld AFM Province were awash with the message of eviction with most of them celebrating their victory.

“AND WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE & NOTIFY YOU THAT THE SHERIFF OF HIGH COURT HAS JUST ARRIVED PA CHURCH PEDU TO EVICT THE DEFENDANT FROM OUR MISSION HOUSE / PREMISES… the crane has finally come & Goliath is finally down & out

The Lord has granted us victory

You may rush & see it for yourself, if you can

*Eviction going on now,” reads one of the messages on social media.

Eviction of leadership that is aligned to Chiangwa who has since formed a splinter group called AFM of Zimbabwe is going on in the country as most of them are still clinging on to properties belonging to AFM in Zimbabwe despite the Supreme Court judgement.
