GOKWE-Cheziya High School in Gokwe South has recorded another impressive 100 percent pass rate for both 2024 Advanced and Ordinary Level results.

Last year ,the powerhouse secondary education learning institution again recorded 100% in both levels.
School Headmaster Tongesai Munyere told The Midweek Watch that the school continues to attain 100 percent pass rate in both levels attributing the success story to staff commitment, hardworking, team work ,discipline and qualified personnel.
“We are proud to record another perfect 100% pass rate for both Ordinary and Advanced Level results. We are impressive with this commendable achievement in all learning areas. We attribute this success story to supportive parents the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, responsible authority, team work, discipline, commitment and hardworking.
“The school boasts of qualified personnel both teaching and non teaching staff who worked together to produce these results,” he said.
He said 157 students wrote the Ordinary Level examinations and 76 were males while 81 were females.
A total of 109 candidates sat for the Advanced Level examinations. Out of the number ,46 were males and 63 were females.
A deeper result analysis indicated that , at Advanced Level 15 subjects were offered and 14 attained 100 percent with 48 leaners having produced 14 points and above.
He said 31 candidates have 15 points and above while 5 candidates have 20 points with one candidate having obtained 25 points in sciences.
At Ordinary Level, 18 subjects were offered and 15 subjects have 90 percent and above.
Best Ordinary Level leaners with 8As include Gumbo Tinomutenda,Kuleya Mitchel ,Matope Munashe ,Muza Tanyaradzwa ,Sibanda Letwin ,Chengeta Tanyaradzwa ,Mlalazi Mavelous and Ncube Benford.
Best Ordinary Level performers who nailed 11As are Saidi Nigel and Mtami Tadiwanashe.
At Advanced Level ,31 leaners attained 15 points and above. Some of the best leaners are Nyariri Nigel 25 points (sciences), Chitsvariwa Panache 20 points (commercials) ,Nyama Richard 20 points (commercials) ,Mpofu Wishes 20 points (Arts) ,Mhangara Peter 20 points (sciences)
