CHACHACHA-In dramatic turn of events a notorious Chachacha cattle rustler identified as Tapiwa Ntini allegedly escaped from lawful police custody under suspicious circumstances, The Midweek Watch has learned. Â
Ntini allegedly escaped today (14/4/25) before dawn and villagers who spoke to this publication believe he was allegedly released by corrupt police officers after getting some bribes.
He was due to appear at Shurugwi Magistrate Court on April 14.
The notorious cattle rustler would skin the beasts and take only the hindquarters leaving the rest to rot I the bush.

When asked for a comment the Midlands Province police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said he does not have such a report but will check and give feedback on April 15.
