Caravan Park gears for unique Xmas carnival

Caravan Park Masvingo will bring joy and festive cheer to the community on Christmas Day with a fun-filled carnival that will feature live performances by renowned gospel artists.

The event, which will be held at the Caravan Park Gardens, will be a special treat for gospel music lovers, with performances by the princess of gospel Dorcas Moyo and Prince Chigwida from the Zion Christian Church (ZCC).

Garikayi Garande, who runs Caravan Park Masvingo, said the event will be a way of giving back to the community and remembering those who enjoy gospel music.

“We want to do something special for the community this Christmas, and there is no better way to do that than with a fun-filled day of gospel music and family activities, we are thrilled to be hosting Dorcas Moyo and Prince Chigwida, and we are grateful for the support of the community that they always give us,” said Garande.

Garande confirmed that the carnival will feature a range of activities, including jumping castles, go-karts, swimming pools, trampolines, and quad bikes. There will also be fun games, face painting, and a kids’ dancing competition, he told The Midweek Watch.

Advance tickets for the event are already being sold and admission will be $5 per adult, with kids entering for free. The event will also include a free braai starter pack for attendees who arrive between 10am and 4pm.

Garande emphasized that the admission fee of $5 will cover the whole day and night events and from 6.00pm there will be a DJ clash up to 10.00pm.

There will also be a night shift of the carnival featuring Enzo Ishall till late.
