Zvishavane-Molly Chiuswa (21) (pictured), a visually impaired bright student from Zvishavane kwaMapanzure, is appealing for financial assistance to continue her education at Advanced Level after excelling in her Ordinary Level examinations.

Molly achieved an impressive 5As, 2Bs and 1C. Her results include: Heritage Studies A, Shona A, History A, Family and Religious Studies A, Business and Enterprise Skills A, English Language B, Literature in English B and Commerce C.
She lives with her mother, who is in her late 60s and is not working due to leg problems. Molly does not know the whereabouts of her father. She is the last born in a family of six and none of her siblings are employed.
Molly attended Sandara Primary and Muswe Primary Schools before enrolling at Chegato High School in 2021.
During her time at Chegato, her education was funded by social welfare while well wishers provided essentials and stationery.
Molly has ambitious plans for her future.
“I’m good in Arts, so I wish to study Law at university,” she said.
She is appealing to well wishers to assist with school fees, stationery and other essentials.
“Braille is very difficult to use,” she added, requesting a laptop and a good phone to aid her learning.
Paul Gumbo, a visually impaired disability rights activist from the Midlands Province said, “We are appealing to well wishers to come through and support Molly’s education so that she can fulfil her dreams”
