Premier Soccer League outfit Bikita Minerals Football Club failed to appear at the Masvingo Magistrate Court last Friday after their former player, Russell Madamombe reported them for breach of contract.

Madamombe took Bikita Minerals FC to court after they allegedly refused to pay him his dues as per their contract.

Madamombe approached the courts seeking justice after the club allegedly failed to honour financial obligations related to his contract. He is reportedly owed unpaid salaries and signing-on fees.

Despite the court scheduling the matter for hearing on the 29th of August, Bikita Minerals FC did not turn up.

The case remains pending as the court awaits the club’s response.
