GWERU-Sheasham FC aka Construction Boys are expected to dig deeper into their bag of tricks as they clash with the oldest club in the country, Highlanders FC at Ascot Stadium tomorrow.

“We’re travelling to Gweru this coming Saturday on February 11 for a “Welcome to the League friendly match”  against Sheasham FC.” read part of the Club’s communique.

Tomorrow’s game will be the fourth friendly match for the Construction Boys having played fading giants Dynamos FC at the same venue where they lost by a goal and two other games against army side Black Rhinos FC last week which they drew and won the other one.

The Construction Boys head coach, John Nyikadzino was however last week put to task by the army side, Black Rhinos who played good football despite losing 1 nil in the first game .

Later, on the same day, the two sides shared spoils in their second match at the Gweru Sports Club.

Shading light on the coming games, Nyikadzino has  maintained his stance saying he is confident with his squad.

“The friendly encounter we had with the Army side has helped us fine tune our preparations ahead of the Premier League debut.

“In terms of player attitude am still happy with the team and going forward I say it is work is in progress. We are doing final touches as we continue to prepare and build confidence in the player,”Nyikadzino added.

Construction Boys gained promotion from the ZIFA Central Region Division 1 in 2022.
