African Political & Church Leadership Virus

Date:

“The African social belief is that your leader is never wrong. This belief is worst when we view political and church leaders.

You only see the wrong of another leader whom you don’t believe in but yours is always right. Unless we start to critically analyze every decision by our leaders we will never have good leaders in Africa. People should distinguish between constructive criticism and opposing for the sake of opposing. Our leaders must appreciate those people who critisize them for they eventually become better leaders. Leaders must be in position to silence bootlickers and the I am the leader’s best defender.

These two groups prevent constructive criticism in an organization. The worst term used by political supporters to silence constructive criticism is “Mutengesi”.This term has done more harm to churches and political parties than anything you might dream. Suspicion, labeling, false accusations, framing, false allegations, building up theories, hatred, toxicity elbowing others and fear of competition have done harm to churches and political parties.

These are the worst diseases in African churches and political parties. If anyone finds the cure to the virus then African society will be best developed continent.”
