Accident claims Pamushana High driver

Masvingo – A tragic road accident along the Mutare-Masvingo road has claimed the life of 25-year-old Adonis Panashe Moyo, a driver from Pamushana High School in Bikita.

According to Masvingo Province ZRP spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa, the accident occurred t around 5am on September 29 as Moyo was traveling to Mutare with a passenger, Tatenda Dzingira (27), from Village Sengai under Chief Mukanganwi in Bikita.

As they approached the 282km peg, Moyo lost control of the silver Honda Mobilio he was driving, and the vehicle veered off the road, overturning multiple times before landing on its left side.

Moyo sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Masvingo Provincial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries upon admission.

The passenger, Dzingira, suffered a swollen right leg and was admitted to the same hospital and is in stable condition.

Insp Dhewa urged drivers to exercise caution, avoid speeding, and remain attentive on the road to prevent such tragedies.
