Dear City Fathers and Mothers!

Date:

Pawagona pembedzaivo. The City has order. The ban of zvipipi and combi pick and drop at undesignated areas was a Christmas present before Christmas for ratepayers, residents and visitors.

The drive to have all long distance passenger public vehicles to go to Mucheke Rank will further improve the City’s outlook. If one was to visit the Croco Motor Long distance bus undesignated pick and drop area you would understand the level of a healthy time bomb we are sitting on as a City. Vanhu kuita CBD bush toilet chokwadi. Endai paCoke Durawall haaa hazviite zvachose.

However, the City must improve the Mucheke Rank .The toilets must be of standard. The potholes must be quickly filled up. The waiting shades must be revamped. A lot has to be done in the seven days period.

Quickly attract modern fast food outlets eg Chicken Inn, Chicken Slice. These are this generation standard food outlets. Many long distance passengers would not favour the old cafe and bottle store at our Rank. This generation wants standards.

If standards are very bad, travelers will have no option except to seek private transport. In so doing the public transporters will quickly move to where travelers will be.

I salute your efforts in making Masvingo City an orderly place to live. Your efforts should be complimented by every citizen.

Thank you
