MASVINGO-Tsungai Holdings and one of the pioneer private education investors and former Masvingo Central legislator Edmond Mhere has scooped the Diamond Business Strategic Leader of the Year award at the Megafest Masvingo Region Business Awards held at Urban Lifestyle Hotel on July 17.
Mhere, who chairs Tsungai Holdings, the group behind Eddrovale Academy, Eddrovale Junior and Lionsvale Academy a Mucheke Rank in Masvingo, emerged as the Diamond winner in the category on the night.
Speaking to The Midweek Watch, Tsungai Holdings senior manager Thembani Makiwa said the award reflected Mhere’s visionary leadership and commitment to excellence in education, business and agriculture.
“We are delighted by this recognition and extend our heartfelt congratulations to our chairperson, Edmond Mhere. This award is well deserved and reflects his dedication, leadership and unwavering commitment to developing quality institutions, empowering communities and contributing to national development,” said Makiwa a former educationist par excellence himself.
