MASVINGO-Shekinah Media Director and WIDO country Ambassador Angeline Mikiri has been appointed Masvingo United Football Club’s new spokesperson following the resignation of Omen Mafa.
In a press release in possession of The Midweek Watch, the club said the appointment is effective immediately and is intended to ensure continuity in communication and public engagement.
Mikiri, who has been serving as the club’s Marketing and Publicity Officer, will retain that role while assuming responsibility for all official club communications, media and public relations.
Mikiri has worked for national and regional newspapers before launching her own publication, The Great Zimbabwe Times.
Besides her love for the most beautiful game she is also passionate about women empowerment and is the country Ambassador of the United Nations affiliated Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO).
