MASVINGO – Reformed Church in Zimbabwe run, Zimuto High has performed remarkably well in the 2023 ZIMSEC O Level as 91.23% of its students managed to get at least 5 subjects and above.
Zimuto High’s best performer, Tatenda Bhere a female student was the highest with 9As, 2Bs and 1C followed by four others with 8As and 4Bs out of 228 who sate for the 2023 exams.
The pass rate was a huge jump from 2022 when the school posted 85.45% pass rate.

In an interview with The Midweek Watch, Zimuto High head, Harris Mashava said that they are happy with the performance of their students considering that the examinations were written post deadly COVID-19 disease induced strict lockdowns which made studying very difficult for the past four years.
“We are very impressed by the performance that was displayed by the students and staff as they went on to produce excellent O Level results on the backdrop of difficult circumstances,” said Mashava.
He also went on to thank the parents and guardians on their unwavering support to the school as it motivated everyone to do their best.
