MASVINGO-There was double joy for the seven mothers at Masvingo Provincial Hospital who delivered their bundles of joy on the same day that President Mnangagwa was celebrating his birthday.
Masvingo Provincial Hospital medical superintended, Dr Noel Zulu told The Midweek Watch that three boys and four boys were delivered on Sunday and the First Lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa took time from the Great Zimbabwe Monuments birthday celebrations to visit the new babies.
The First Lady gifted the new babies with hampers and she also took the opportunity to chat with a woman who also gave birth to triplets on Friday last week whom she also blessed with some goodies.
Her donation and visit was met with delight by hospital staff, patients and those who had gone to visit their loved ones admitted at the only referral hospital in the province.
