The 65th annual Masvingo agricultural show, which will run from September 25th to 28th under the theme ‘Promoting development for economic growth,’ promises to be an exciting event that highlights the best of local farming and innovation.
The show society chairperson veteran educationist Fadzai Jirivengwa confirmed the dates to The Midweek Watch saying the event will bring together farmers, exhibitors, and enthusiasts to showcase their products, share knowledge, and celebrate the agricultural sector.
The agricultural show has a rich history, dating back to its inception as a platform for farmers to share knowledge and expertise. Over the years, it has grown into the provincial premier event that attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the country. This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better, with many exhibitors eager to showcase their products and innovations.
The event provides a unique opportunity for them to showcase their wares, network with potential customers, and learn from industry experts.
“Last year’s event was a huge success, with several exhibitors taking home top prizes. The winners were recognised for their outstanding contributions to agriculture and innovation. We look forward to seeing what this year’s exhibitors have in store,” said Jirivengwa.
