MBERENGWA – A record 55 soccer players have shown up at Jame West FC football trials that started on the 4th of January 2025.
The 55 are all new faces who are seeking their lucky to play in the Central Region Division 1 Soccer League after Jame West got promoted last season.
The Mberengwa based side is seeking to bolster their squad as they are set to meet stiffer competition from the likes of Chapungu, Sheasham, Tongogara among others.
Jame West FC coach Ashel Gutu confirmed the development to The Midweek Watch and said the trials are currently going on well.
“We have 55 players in camp for the trials we are happy with the turn out though it could have been more”, he said.
