-progressing smoothly

The 2025 Grade 7 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) examinations are currently underway, with 417,820 candidates sitting for their final primary school assessments at 5,545 centres across the country.
Speaking to the Midweek Watch, ZIMSEC spokesperson Nicky Dhlamini confirmed that the exams which are now in their second week are progressing smoothly.
“Examination centres across the country report that candidates started well. Through our monitoring teams, we have observed the integrity of the examinations being safeguarded by school administrators,” said Dhlamini.
The Grade 7 exams, which began on Monday, 22nd of September are scheduled to run until Monday the 6th October 2025.
As a crucial milestone for learners transitioning to secondary school, ZIMSEC has assured the public that all security and administrative protocols are firmly in place.
