400 more graduate at Tonganyika

ZVISHAVANE- More and more students are graduating at Tonganyika and this week saw 400 of them being capped under the Presidential free courses that are offered in Zvishavane.

 Sylivia Choruwa, the CEO of Isheanopa group of companies and a member of the SMEs advisory council in Zimbabwe, was the guest of honour at a graduation ceremony at Baptist Church in Maglas Zvishavane.

Choruwa took the opportunity to share her own entrepreneurial journey with the graduates and encouraged them to start small and work hard to make it big in life.

Choruwa emphasized the importance of self-belief and urged the graduates not to underestimate their potential.

 “Don’t look down upon yourself; you can be anything you desire to be in business,” Choruwa also provided practical advice on how to kickstart their entrepreneurial ventures.

 She advised them to register their companies, obtain tax clearance, and join the SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) sector. Additionally, she suggested applying for a loan from the Zimbabwe Women’s Bank as a means to finance their business endeavors

Graduates were encouraged to be prayerful, focused, hard work and disciplined. “Business success comes with a lot of struggle and challenges therefore pray, have focus do not shift focus no matter what, hard work is key usatangirwe kumuka nezuva as an entrepreneur sleep less and work more , the major key is discipline you should be disciplined with money avoid impulse buying “

President Mnangagwa received praise for fulfilling his promise of leaving no one behind.

One of the graduates said “I am grateful that President E.D. Mnangagwa gave me this opportunity, my parents failed to send me to college my husband was snatched from me and now I finally have skills that no one can take away from me all thanks to Baba VaMnangagwa,”

Choruwa also highlighted that in Gokwe 300 people were trained through this presidential program and graduated.

The efforts made by President Mnangagwa in empowering individuals through skills development programs have been widely recognized and appreciated by the beneficiaries.
