MASVINGO-A total of 40 participants have gathered in Masvingo for a CAF D Licence coaching course organised by the Zimbabwe Football Association as the country continues to invest in grassroots football development.

The training programme which is sanctioned by the Confederation of African Football commenced today March 23 and will run until April 1 at Junior High School.
The course is designed to equip aspiring coaches with fundamental coaching skills, focusing on player development, technical knowledge and modern training methodologies.
It is expected to play a key role in strengthening football structures at community and developmental levels.

The CAF D Licence is widely regarded as an entry-level coaching qualification, providing a foundation for individuals seeking to pursue professional coaching pathways within Zimbabwe and across the continent.
The course is being facilitated by Mutekede Wilson who is serving as the FIFA coach educator for the programme.
