GUTU-Reformed Church of Zimbabwe owned Gutu High School has recorded an outstanding 98.1 percent pass rate in the 2025 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) Ordinary Level exmas, marking a 2.97 percent increase from the 95.14 percent achieved in 2024.

A total of 159 candidates sat for five subjects and above, with 156 learners successfully passing, reflecting a notable improvement in overall performance.
The school also produced 37 high achievers who attained five As and above.
Among the top performers were two learners who each achieved an exceptional 12 As.
Strong performances were recorded in English Language, Mathematics and Science, pointing to sustained academic growth.
Gutu High Head, Mirirai Mutanda attributed the improved results to learner commitment, teacher dedication and continued parental support.
“These results are a product of hard work and discipline from our learners, unwavering commitment from our teachers and strong support from parents throughout the year,” said Mutanda.
