NEMAMWA-THREE DARING male juveniles have been nabbed for a spate of thefts at Nemamwa Growth Point and surrounding areas.
The trio allegedly stole items worth USD500, which included cell phones, power banks, solar panels, a portable power station, groceries, broilers, and clothing.
However, in a breakthrough, police managed to recover items worth USD200 after they were nabbed on February 27.
Masvingo Province police spokesperson, Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa, confirmed the incident, stating that a police report was filed, leading to the arrest of the three juveniles. They are expected to appear in court soon to face charges related to the theft.
Inspector Dhewa praised the swift response of the police, which led to the recovery of some of the stolen items. The police are still investigating the incident and are working to recover the remaining stolen items.
