2 Zvish men lose vehicles to robbers

ZVISHAVANE- Police confirms receiving a report of theft of motor vehicle which occurred in Zvishavane.

The other robbery happened on 6 April 2024 at about 0400 hours.

Wilson Dube (43) of Railways, Zvishavane parked his vehicle, a white Isuzu ELF 2,5 tonne truck, registration number AAV 7253 at his residence and retired to bed. 

At around 1100 hours he woke up and discovered that his vehicle had been driven off. He checked around but could not find it. He made a Police report. 

On 7 April 2024 at about 1900 hours he found his motor vehicle dumped at Machipisa Business Centre, Zvishavane. 

In another incident, on 7 April 2024 at about 1200 hours Danisa Ncube (41), parked his Toyota Wish silver in colour registration number AFI 2722 at his homestead in Lot 4, Zvishavane and left the car keys on the ignition.

He went to Zvishavane District Hospital. At about 1400 hours he returned from Zvishavane District Hospital and found the vehicle missing.

Midlands Provincial Police Spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko is appealing for information  regarding the suspects’ whereabouts

“We are appealing for anyone with information that can lead to the recovery of the stolen silver Toyota Wish motor vehicle to approach any Police station. 

“Once again members of the public are urged to ensure that their vehicles are properly locked when leaving them and avoid leaving car keys on the ignition.” Mahoko said.
