BUHERA- A record 14 aspiring Zanu PF candidates for four Buhera constituencies have submitted their Curriculum Vitaes (CVs) to contest in the 18 March primary elections.
There are also 91 aspiring councillors who will also tussle each other on the same day for the 33 wards available for grabs, The Midweek Watch can reveal.
Among the five contestants for Buhera West are Director of Information at Zanu PF headquarters, Tafadzwa Mugwadi, Saul Dzuma, Gelly Miti, Maxwell Chikwangwani and Wilson Nzuma, whilst Philip Guyo, Amos Mukomba and Tonderai Manakira are contesting for Buhera North.
Contestants for Buhera Central are Matthew Nyashanu, Samson Matema and Conilias Magwede.
Buhera South has Joseph Chinotimba, Ngonidzashe Mudekunye and Freddy Chimbari.
There are 91 aspiring councillors who have submitted their CVs to contest in 33 wards in Buhera District.
Applicants for women’s qouta are Beauty Muzhingi, Kerenia Chimuso and Sungurai Magaya, whilst Simbarashe Mutomba applied for the youth qouta and William Mutomba for senate.
