The Vazukuru Vokwa Mukungunugwa Foundation (VVMF) extends its deepest gratitude to the entire clan for rising in unity and love to honour our beloved matriarch, Mbuya Mai Ravi, on the celebration of her 105th birthday.

Through the 105 Acts of Love initiative, members contributed cash, which was faithfully applied as follows: Dorcas uniform (complete), blankets, tennis shoes, folding mattress, groceries.
Cash was handed to Gogo for a jersey and personal needs.

This was not merely a financial contribution — it was an expression of honour, gratitude, and generational responsibility.
Special appreciation goes to Elder Simon Magomo, assisted by Ms Nancy Muzira, for coordinating collections, mobilising the team, and facilitating the handover, which was documented through photos and videos.

To every member who contributed, prayed, mobilised, and stood with this cause — thank you. VVMF continues to prove that it is a living family grounded in care, memory, and responsibility.
The Board will sit and develop a structured template for future honouring initiatives, including guidance on the entry age or milestone at which members will be formally celebrated as patriarchs or matriarchs, to ensure dignity, consistency, and preparedness going forward.
We did not simply celebrate 105 years — we wrapped our matriarch in dignity, warmth, and honour.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Advocate Canaan Dube
Chairperson – VVMF
